Phimosis is often misunderstood, misdiagnosed, over-diagnosed, and improperly treated with unnecessary surgery.
"Physiologic phimosis, where the foreskin is still fused to the glans, is the normal state for intact boys, which will naturally mature into a retractable state over time. Pathologic phimosis is an uncommon abnormal state, often caused by scarring and trauma from repeated attempts to retract the foreskin before it has loosened naturally."
-Doctors Opposing Circumcision
Phimosis does not necessarily require surgical intervention. Many cases can be remedied with manual stretching / tissue expansion techniques. Destroying the most nerve-laden tissue of the penis should not be chosen so flippantly. Men practicing foreskin restoration techniques devote many years to creating a facsimile of what is quickly lost to circumcision.
"If the adult foreskin resists retraction because the diameter of the preputial orifice is narrow, this can also be remedied if the man wants it to be remedied. French researchers have found that a simple regime of daily manual massage and stretching of the foreskin can greatly increase the diameter of the adult preputial orifice. Penile skin is highly elastic and responsive to stretching. These exercises are simple, free, and effective.
It is interesting to note, however, that many males with nonretractable foreskins are happy just the way they are. They enjoy the security, the streamlined look, and the feel of a foreskin that always covers the glans. Genital cleanliness is just as easy with a nonretractable foreskin. It may even enhance sexual activity. Since the foreskin is double-layered, the upper layer can slide over the inner layer, thereby stimulating the glans and, simultaneously, being stimulated by the glans. A foreskin that remains in place during erection is always in a state of readiness for this natural and efficient mechanical mode of penile stimulation."

Young foreskinned males who have escaped circumcision in infancy face new risks of circumcision as they enter puberty because the foreskin is still developing and may not be immediately retractable. Circumcision is a nice word for the very harmful surgical amputation of the foreskin part of your penis and the permanent irreversible loss of its functions, which results in lifetime disability and handicap.

These young males are likely to be preyed upon by unscrupulous physicians who see an opportunity to earn a nice surgical fee for performing a circumcision. Young teens have reached an age where they can refuse harmful unwanted surgery and should do so when offered an irreversible adult style circumcision.

The British website, 4-skin Health, offers advice for teenagers and young adults.

Young males whose foreskin is still tight and difficult or impossible to retract may engage in manual stretching daily over a period of time, during which the daily stretching will cause the narrow part of the foreskin to stretch and become retractable. WikiHow gives full information on how to pull one's foreskin back without pain.

The daily or twice-daily stretching works by causing tissue expansion through mitosis

One should not force retraction and one should not cause oneself pain.

There are share buttons at the top of every thread made on Circumcised.com. I highly recommend everyone to share threads across all of social media. The current options are to share to Reddit, X, and Facebook. The more awareness we can raise around the issue, the better.

Attorneys for the Rights of the Child  (ARC) is an association of intactivist attorneys-at-law who would like to protect the rights of children to genital integrity.

ARC has just published its Summer 2026 Newsletter.

I had to deal with first hand what it was like to have a therapist disagree with your beliefs. I began seeing a therapist in 2022 (I no longer see them) that always attempted to derail me and downplay the damage that was done to me as a baby. For context my therapist was a woman that was a mother to three sons and one daughter. She had all her sons circumcised as infants like me and believed the procedure was a trivial matter.

No matter how hard I tried to convince her that she was on the wrong side of history, she held her ground firm and refused to change her stance. She mentioned that she was uneasy about her first son's circumcision but had it done anyway because of cultural norms. I asked why she didnt have her daughter done and of course she disagreed that male circumcision and female circumcision were relatable at all.

I have since began seeing a new therapist that understands my concerns. For context, my new therapist is a circumcised man that is neutral on the topic but understands where i am coming from better than anyone else in my life ever has.

I want justice for whats happened to me but cannot sue the doctor directly because he died years ago. Is this a case of having to sue the hospital? I know that there is a statue of limitations for this kind of thing, can someone with more knowledge educate me?

I've suffered from a severe porn addiction since I was a teenager as a direct result of trauma Ive experienced with circumcision. I'm currently 24 and still have not been able to quit. Porn taps into this trauma like nothing else and makes me hate myself even more.

I've noticed there is a huge overlap between members of intactivism and nofap, and sometimes the incel community as well. Thoughts on this? Would love to open up a dialogue on the matter.

I think terrorism is a great motivator and I'm not afraid to say it.

Imagine the speed in which MGM could be ended if a bunch of men really just started to not give a fuck and declared war upon, lets say, the united states, and began engaging in terrorist acts like car bombs, mass shootings, abductions, whatever. Seriously, how do you think the world would actually respond to such an event? What do you think the global sentiment would be? Because if an actual domestic organization was formed and declared war against the USA, that would mean the discussion of whether MGM is acceptable in the modern world would have to be brought to the attention of the entire world for the first time ever.

One issue with MGM is that nobody thinks about it or questions it, ever. If only the conversation could be brought to the limelight for the entire world to question in sync, I think there would be actual potential for real change.

I know this post will get pushback. Literally nobody I have spoken to in this space agrees with what I've just said. I've seen comments here and there suggesting terrorism as an actual means on Reddit but they always get banned and deleted by pussy mods. But I don't care. I like the idea of terrorism and the potential benefits it could bring to the cause that is ending MGM ONCE AND FOR ALL. What, is the entire world going to seriously side with genital mutilation? If so, then we really are shit out of luck but I dont think that would be the case.

Ask yourself: what is worse, the deaths of thousands or the suffering of billions? If I remember correctly, the slaves were not freed by the pen, but by the sword instead. The pen solidified it, but the sword made it possible. Blood had to be shed for that issue and blood will have to be shed for this issue as well. There is no other way around it. My stance is the most reasonable reaction to learning that the majority of people in the world believe it is okay to remove parts of children's, BABIES', genitals minutes after they are born. The cherry on top is that the "procedure" is really a blood ritual sacrifice with a rich history in having started as a way to mark slaves and make men physically, emotionally, psychologically, spiritually, and sexually castrated.

I'm tired of being told that I'm the crazy one. I'm not.

Mohammad Siddiqui. A former paediatric surgeon has been jailed for five years and seven months for offences committed while operating an unsafe and unsanitary mobile child circumcision service.

Royal Dutch Medical association has already said it clearly that - ' Circumcision is a violation to child's right to autonomy and physical integrity. Circumcision can and does cause complications. ' and more than 90% of the countries agree to this statement. Only USA is the exception.
