The default model for how victims of MGM find justice is generally through restoration. I hate that this is our default. Firstly, restoring is incredibly delusional. The phrasing itself is just plain wrong? What is being "restored" exactly? What was taken from us can never be restored. A better word choice would be "replicating."

I find the fact that a large chunk of the men in this movement against MGM strapping things to and tugging their dick all day for a decade to be immensely humiliating. I've never restored, never considered it as an option, and will never do it. I'm not "stuck in my ways". I'm simply not delusional.

I hate that when you vent to people on the Internet about struggling with MGM, there is always a shithead in the comments that asks "Well, have you started restoring?" like its up to ME to manifest my own justice. Justice to me looks like a large lump sum of money in my pockets AND mutilators either in prison for life or executed. There is no in between for me.

Our default model needs desperate change because we cannot place the burden of "restoring" on victims. It is the government/state that needs to give us our justice, not ourselves. It's fucking ridiculous how this movement operates.

I also have a general distaste towards those that have chosen the route of "restoration." I understand that anyone doing it is only trying to live a happier life, but the energy could be better used somewhere else. I hate to sound like a crab in a bucket but I find those individuals to only be emasculating themselves further every time they put on a tugger. And of course as mentioned earlier, anyone doing "restoration" is suffering from delusion. You CANNOT get back what was taken. Full stop. It cannot be done. Those nerves are gone forever. Yeah, I know it sucks to hear but that's the truth.

Dear Rage:

Every circumcised man has a right to be enraged. His legal and human rights have been violated. His prepuce has been irreversibly amputated.

What is to be done to rectify the situation?

1. One can do nothing and remain in a rage for the rest of one's life, which seems to be your response.
2. One can commit suicide, which a few men have done.
3. One can sue one's circumciser as William Stowell did in 2003.
4. One can have a surgical foreskin "restoration", which is now being offered by Sven Gunther, MD, a physician in California.
5. One can undertake a non-surgical, tissue expansion to elongate one's residual shaft skin into a foreskin. This is the way Google describes it:

Quote:A recent unofficial and very unscientific poll of restorers on our reddit sub – reddit.com/r/foreskin_restoration –
identified many benefits that accrue during the process of restoring one’s foreskin. In the first section are those
mentioned by the most respondents – in no particular order.

1. The end of overly tight erections.
2. Dekeratinization, giving increased sensitivity and softness of the glans and inner foreskin.
3. Return of the natural mucosa of the glans and inner foreskin, including biome, moisture and
odor.
4. Improved orgasms, including whole-body orgasms for some.
5. Gliding action.
6. Ability to have sex and masturbate without lube.
7. Improved self-esteem, self-dignity, sense of safety, confidence and body appreciation.
8. A more natural appearance.
9. Increased pleasure for sex partners.
10. Increase of pleasure throughout the sex act or masturbation, not just at the end.
The following benefits were reported by one or more restorers. Again, they are not in any particular order.
11. No bending of the shaft/glans caused by a lack of skin.
12. A proper sulcus.
13. Scrotum where it’s supposed to be - instead of balls pulled up the shaft.
14. Relaxed scrotal skin on the scrotum - where it belongs.
15. Balls at a proper distance below your shaft which increases testosterone by keeping your balls
cooler.
16. An internal sex organ - the glans - instead of an exposed one.
17. Protection of the glans and inner mucosa.
18. Appropriate, natural, sensitivity - increased sensitivity for some and decreased sensitivity for
others.
19. Resolution of erectile dysfunction and other issues like taking a long time to orgasm or
premature ejaculation.
20. Increased erect length and girth for about 50% of restorers.
21. Increased flaccid size for about 25% of restorers.
22. Sense of accomplishment.
23. Ability to tailor foreskin to your goals - amount of inner skin/ mucosa, amount of outer skin,
amount of overhang, etc.
24. Membership in a great community and a small club of restored/restoring men.
25. A sense of pride and appreciation of the foreskin that few intact men have.
26. To be able to say, "Fuck doctors, religious fanatics and stupid parents for making the choice for
me".
27. Being able to be proudly nude in public.
28. Feeling nothing on a long bicycle ride or other exercise, or just wearing clothes.
29. Regaining identity as an uncircumcised person and control over my own body.
30. Ability to dock with a partner.
31. Undoing a mistake that was made by other people without my consent.
32. For trans women, growing valuable tissue for better results from bottom surgery and reducing
genital dysphoria.
33. Increased amounts of pre-ejaculate fluid.
34. Protection from sunburn on sensitive mucosa.
35. Satisfying some curiosities about what it’s like to have a functional foreskin.
36. Longer and stronger orgasms and more control over them.
37. Regaining the afterglow and actual satisfaction.
38. Partial healing of the permanent mental damage caused by circumcision without anesthesia.
39. Improves meatal stenosis.

There are some things that cannot be restored. One cannot restore the ridged band and one cannot restore the frenulum.

It does not take ten years to receive a benefit. If a circumcised man has painful erections due to the amputation of excessive skin, the relief is almost immediate.

I chose to "restore" my foreskin non-surgically. I have no regrets. My glans penis is fully covered by my extended shaft skin as I type. It increases my comfort to be covered and protected. I have that benefit 24/7, as well as many other benefits.

Restoration is a helpful cope and does increase sensitivity, but it will never be at the level of being intact. You are missing a substantial proportion of the frenular delta. Science on this area is slow until recently. Just 3 months ago you may have seen articles that discovered it is the male G-spot. You essentially have your G-spot significantly diminished or in rare cases completely gone (carved frenulum).

From newscientist
Quote:The frenular delta is a highly sensitive, triangular area of tissue on the underside of the penis where the shaft meets the head. Centered around the frenulum (the "banjo string"), researchers have identified it as an epicenter of sexual sensation, earning it the nickname of the male "G-spot"
So this entire time, the male g-spot was not the prostate, it was the part that is substantially cut during circumcision. This just shows how heavily manipulated the studies were. cucked cattle that fell for it easily

The Male G-Spot was manipulated by its place so that circumcised men don't feel the harm and hurt. This is a strong point as FGM activists also protested for G-Spot of their females being left intact.

Foreskin restoration started in ancient times when it was called epispasm.  It is very helpful, so I think men are going to continue to do it as long as circumcision continues to be performed.

I agree.

This never should have been every man for himself. Circumcision is systemic oppression. This was never each man's individual battle to overcome on his own.

Men need to get better at collectivizing. We demand collective justice, not solve systemic issues quietly each on our own.

I think Intact Global may be doing just that.

Intact Global is marginally directionally aligned.

I believe they are thinking way too small and fall short of the kind of justice I am talking about.

Intact Global, even is successful, it would be an entirely impersonal win in a far-off course room that doesn't impact my life one way or the other. Even if they win, Intact Global only achieves a law for future harm prevention. They don't even aim to achieve restitution to the victims nor punishment to the perpetrators, which is what would be required for personal justice.

Your observations are correct. Intact Global is seeking to make non-therapeutic circumcision of boys unlawful in the future. While that is a legitimate goal, it does nothing for those circumcised in the past.

I think you are looking for a gigantic class-action suit that would embrace all circumcised males as plaintiffs suing as defendants all persons who perform non-therapeutic circumcision of minor males.

I am not a lawyer, so I can't really give a legal opinion. This layman thinks such a giant suit may be impossible.

I do think that, should Intact Global be successful in their suit, that might become a precedent helpful in a future suit for damages by circumcised men.

I wouldn't consider restoration to be any path to justice, but that's not what it's intended for. Rather, it's simply taking practical steps to mitigate some of the harm that was done, and to reassert some level of control over one's own body. Doing so does not diminish the original assault by any means, but can help improve one's quality-of-life, through the various benefits Old-guy listed above.

Suppose I had been deliberately burned, as part of some bizarre abuse or attack. Would it make any sense to forego skin grafts, or reconstructive surgery, simply because those would never get me back to a 100% intact state?

I'm married to an intact man, together 20+ years. So, we can compare our respective sensations pretty easily. I started off feeling perhaps 50-60% of what he did, depending on what we were doing, and getting a bit worse every year (a luckier position than some MGM victims to be sure, for which I'm grateful), and after one year of restoration, and some dekaratinization, that may have perhaps improved by another 5 or 10%. Of course one year is only the beginning, and you might disagree, but I'd call that small progress so far worthwhile. I look forward to seeing how things play out in the years to come, even knowing I'll never get back 100% of what was taken from me.

A bigger improvement has been no longer feeling day-to-day discomfort from glans abrasion. That might bother me more than most cut guys, and unlike with diminished sensations, I expect restoration to fully solve it in time, but until then, simply wearing a retainer or other device provides immediate relief, while requiring only a few minutes' attention every day. I do more jogging and running now, because the discomfort is gone.

I never went for manual methods much, because they were just too psychologically burdensome, drawing my attention so many times per day to the dark reality of what was done to us. Something more "set and forget" suited me better.

I hope you're able to find some measure of peace.
