I agree with Fetcher, Restoration is like counselling a little bit to the violence that occured to you, but its not really punishing the people who hurted you, and imo, Justice should prevail.

yeah its like a lot of people push foreskin restoration since its the only actually achievable thing we can do for the time being its not like we can do anything through our legal channels although there are more lawsuits happening because of Eric clopper

I actually agree and I'm glad you made this post because its not talked about a lot i know more people in this intactivist space dont enjoy the idea of foreskin restoration but cant speak up against it because thats a minority position from what i can tell

I'm against it too but only in the sense that most people treat it as being the only way for victims to get justice. The whole restoration community is cringe to me. A bunch of guys sharing images of their dicks to each other and comparing their progress doesn't bode well with me personally. When I think about it, its actually quite sad to know such a forum exists, but of course its even sadder to realize that male genital mutilation exists.

Overall, if someone wants to restore thats great and I wish them well but when they turn it into a central point and act like if you arent restoring YOU'RE the one doing something wrong, then I disagree. Restoration is not justice and never will be, even if it was paid for us by the state because of the fact that you CANNOT get back the original tissue. Justice would be somehow magically getting back the original tissue OR being paid a sum that is an agreed upon value of said tissue, NOT giving you pseudo tissue.

Anyway, fuck MGM.
