@Old-guy Yes, it's very nice. We both noticed improved glide after maybe 9 months, even though I'm still stuck at that pesky "hump," not yet CI-4. Definitely a welcome improvement, even knowing there's such a long way still to go
@token Day-to-day irritation and discomfort from glans abrasion against clothing was actually what bothered me more, and finally got me off the fence on trying to improve my situation. I do have skin that's more sensitive (in a bad way) than average, and often cut scratchy tags out of my shirts, for instance, so that probably factors in. One nice thing is that although the pace of restoration is frustratingly slow,simply wearing a silicone retainer or other comfortable device when going out provides immediate relief from the irritation. A good preview of how I hope things will be in a few years, when I no longer need one.
Obviously, it sucks having to devote years of effort to partially fix something that should never have been broken in the first place, but I think taking the initiative to improve what I can, rather than just being passively resigned to "what's done is done," has been good for my mental health.
