Well, that's certainly disgusting. Has there been any push-back from audiences or advertisers?

It is very surprising to hear that a boy is being circumcised in Australia today. About 90 percent of boys were circumcised in the 1960s, but after Wright, Morgan, and Leitch published articles against circumcision, it was decided that boys in Australia should not be circumcised.

The incidence of circumcision in Australia today is estimated at about 5 percent. Public hospitals do not permit non-therapeutic circumcision of boys.

There is still close to 10% on average around the country, but it varies by state, tasmania is nearly 0% but Queensland is around 19%
Public hospitals dont do it unless there is medical indication and unfortunately you just need a pro-circ doc and they’ll write down a superficial or non-existent reason like phimosis or redundant foreskin.
There is also numerous circumcision clinics around as well as going private.
Although most parents are against it there is still a lot of strong supporters
