Medical trade associations exist to advance the business, legal, political, and professional interests of their fellows. Such circumcision statements tend to be biased in favor of advancing the interests of the fellows of the organization. The Circumcision Reference Library was an early attempt to get medical information regarding circumcision onto the then new Internet. It stopped being updated about 2013, so the latest information is not available in the Circumcision Reference Library. The text of many medical trade association statements published prior to 2013 are available and are arranged by nation and date of publication.
