I understand your feelings because I have been there myself, although at this point, I am completely covered by foreskin.
When you get to the hump, the skin is starting to fold into double layer, so one needs two inches of skin to create one inch of foreskin. That is why it takes longer.
I have no regrets about restoring. I don't think you will either, so keep on tugging (KOT)!
