In Memoriam

Last updated: May 21, 2026

This page is dedicated to remembering Jonathon Conte, who tragically took his life at the age of 34, and the impact he had on the lives of those around him. Conte was a passionate person and notable figure in the intactivist community who fought day and night against the routine circumcision of males across the world. He is remembered for his wit, courage, and bravery in the face of dissent.

May this memorial serve as a place of reflection, remembrance, and peace for his family, his friends, the intactivist movement, and all who knew him.

A Note from the Admin

Dear Jonathon,

I wish I had the opportunity to have met you.

I admire your fearless ability to take to the streets to defend the genital autonomy of males worldwide. You have been extremely instrumental in the intactivist movement and in changing the minds of hundreds of people you encountered during protests, thus saving countless boys from unnecessary mutilation. You are truly an amazing person and I would have loved to have you as an integral part of the forum in some capacity.

I want you to know that your struggle is something I resonate with all too well. I know the ache of sleepless nights spent questioning why your feelings are so easily dismissed by the world around you and the quiet grief of being unheard by society. I know how it feels to stand firmly in what you know to be true while surrounded by relentless opposition. I know how it feels to collapse from within and slowly lose your grip on reality. I want you to know that you are not alone.

Your passing was the greatest blow to the intactivism community and I have personally shed tears over your death before. I hope that you were able to find some semblance of comfort and peace in your final moments. From the bottom of my heart and on behalf of the entire intactivism movement, thank you for your service. We are forever grateful for everything you have done.

Your torch has been passed. You will never be forgotten.

"Those we love remain with us always — in memory, in heart, and in spirit."
